Vietjet opens sales for 3.1 million tickets during Lunar New Year 2027, offering more options for family reunions
Vietjet has announced a major ticket release for the Lunar New Year 2027 (Tet) travel season, putting 3.1 million seats on sale across its domestic and international network.
Travel Period
- From January 22, 2027 to February 20, 2027 (15th day of the 12th lunar month to the 15th day of the 1st lunar month).
- This represents a 6% increase in capacity compared to the previous year.
Domestic Routes
- Around 2 million tickets available.
- Pre-Tet fares:
- Ho Chi Minh City → Hanoi, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong: starting at VND 890,000 (excluding taxes/fees).
- Ho Chi Minh City → Da Nang, Nha Trang, Buon Ma Thuot: starting at VND 490,000.
- Post-Tet return fares: starting at VND 490,000.
International Routes
- About 1.1 million tickets offered.
- Expanded connections to destinations in Australia, India, Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, and the Czech Republic.
- Increased flight frequencies on key routes to Taiwan, Japan, China, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
