B.K. Mishra Joins as Additional General Manager of East Coast Railway

Shri Bijaya Kumar Mishra has joined as the new Additional General Manager (AGM), East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar.

Appointment
- Shri Bijaya Kumar Mishra has joined as Additional General Manager (AGM) of East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar (effective September 1, 2026).
- He is a 1991 batch officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS).

Career Highlights
- Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), ECoR – overseeing Accounts, Finance, Budgeting, and Internal Auditing for one of Indian Railways’ highest-earning zones.
- Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Tinsukia Division (NFR) – managed one of the most challenging divisions in Indian Railways.
- Project Finance Head, IRCON International Ltd., Kuala Lumpur – supervised major international infrastructure projects during deputation.

Academic & Professional Training
- Postgraduate in Applied Geology from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad.
- Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
- Advanced training in Financial Management (European School of Business, London & Paris).
- Specialized training in Heavy Haul Railway Technology at Beijing Jiaotong University, China.
