Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in Sambalpur, Odisha. This is a greenfield project.

Strategic importance:
Sambalpur is emerging as a major business and cultural hub in western Odisha, supported by industrial growth, educational institutions, and proximity to Hirakud Dam.
Partnership:
IHCL is collaborating with Shamsher Singh Hura of JAS Group for this project.

With this addition, IHCL will have 8 hotels in the state, including 3 under development.
