Emirates enters winter season with strong booking momentum as network and product investments accelerate

Emirates has closed the summer season ahead of expectations and enters winter with strong booking momentum across a broadening range of markets, as the airline continues to invest in its fleet and industry-leading products, in its global network, and in offering customers greater booking flexibility and comprehensive travel cover.

Strong Summer & Winter Outlook
- Emirates carried 8.6 million passengers between July–August 2026, with seat load factors above 75% across most regions.
- Demand is tracking ahead of last year in markets like South Africa, Brazil, India, Portugal, Egypt, Ghana, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, plus Nepal via flydubai.
- Premium travel demand continues to grow, especially in the Americas.

Fleet & Product Investments
- 18 new aircraft delivered since January (11 A350s, 7 Boeing 777 freighters).
- 104 aircraft retrofitted so far, expanding Premium Economy to 137 aircraft, rising to 155 by year-end.
- Premium Economy now available on 90 destinations, with more (Paris, Delhi, Stockholm, etc.) coming soon.
- Innovations include the U-dream headrest, privacy dividers in Premium Economy, and new-generation lounges in Munich, Frankfurt, and Manchester. - Nearly 50 aircraft fitted with Starlink high-speed inflight internet.

Network Expansion
- Helsinki joins the network on 1 October with A350 service.
- Additional daily frequencies to Accra, Tokyo Narita, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and an A380 upgrade on one Delhi service.
- A350 deployments to Larnaca, Malta, Nairobi, Hamburg, Mauritius.
- Retrofitted Boeing 777s to Stockholm and Frankfurt.
- Emirates + flydubai partnership now covers 214 destinations in 100+ countries, with over 28 million passengers carried since 2017.

- One free date change across the network, unlimited free changes to Dubai.
- Reduced refund fees for Dubai journeys.
- Comprehensive Travel Cover including medical protection against conflict/airspace disruption, plus airline-managed accommodation and rebooking support.
