Emirates to bring the A350 to Nairobi, introducing next-generation cabin experiences
Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, will soon serve Nairobi with its newest aircraft type, the Airbus A350. From 25 October 2026, the A350 will operate on EK717 and EK718, bringing Emirates’ latest-generation cabin experience to customers travelling between Dubai and Nairobi.

Cabin Experience
- Business Class: 1-2-1 layout, lie-flat leather seats, minibar, wireless charging, self-service snack area.
- Premium Economy (first time in Kenya): Reclining leather seats, extra legroom, cocktail table, 13.3-inch screen, amenity kits, exclusive sparkling wine (Chandon Vintage Brut 2017).
- Economy Class: Fresh color palette, upgraded ICE entertainment on 13.3-inch 4K screens, improved seat pitch and comfort.

- Flexibility: 21 weekly flights between Dubai and Nairobi (three daily since July 2026).

Emirates Statement
Christophe Leloup, Emirates Country Manager in Kenya, emphasized that the A350’s arrival offers “more comfort, choice and thoughtful touches in every cabin” while strengthening connections between Kenya, Europe, and the US via Dubai.
This move positions Emirates to raise the bar in East Africa, combining premium product innovation with expanded connectivity.
