Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new Gateway hotel in Siliguri, West Bengal.
Scale:
A greenfield project with 125 rooms and suites, designed for both business and leisure travelers.
Facilities:
- All-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, and bar
- Swimming pool, gym, and spa
- Banquet hall over 10,000 sq. ft., plus meeting rooms and pre-function spaces
Strategic Importance:
Siliguri is known as the gateway to North Bengal, the Northeast, and Bhutan, making it a high-potential hospitality market.
Partnership:
IHCL is collaborating with Mr. Pritam Agarwal & Mr. Amit Bhansali, a Siliguri-based business group with interests in real estate, retail, and transportation.
Regional Impact:
With this addition, IHCL will have 19 hotels in West Bengal, including 11 under development.
Local Attractions:
Guests can explore tea gardens, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, Coronation Bridge, Trishakti Heritage Complex, and Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary.
