Marriott International, Inc. has signed an agreement with KS Hotels and Resorts for two hotels on Khao Lak’s coast, Matalay, a new 200-hectare destination where tranquil beaches, lakes, mountains, rainforests and Thailand’s most famous surf break are woven together in a breathtaking tapestry of nature.

Marriott International has signed with KS Hotels and Resorts to open two new properties in Matalay, a 200-hectare coastal destination in Khao Lak.
Brands:
- Moxy Khao Lak Memories Beach – the brand’s first in Southern Thailand, bringing Moxy’s playful, social vibe to the surf village.
- Matalay Khao Lak, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy – the brand’s first in Thailand, offering 60 spacious two-bedroom apartments designed for longer stays.
Location:
Both hotels will sit on Memories Beach, famous for surfing, at Matalay’s northern end.
Connectivity:
A new 3 km jogging and cycling track will link the development to the JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, with 1.4 km of pristine beachfront.
