Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi Debuts as Curio Collection by Hilton’s First Hawaiʻi Resort

Hilton announced the opening of Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi, Curio Collection by Hilton, a 210-room lifestyle resort. Marking Curio Collection by Hilton’s debut in Hawaiʻi, the property brings the brand’s focus on individually remarkable hotels and memorable stays to one of the world’s most sought-after island destinations.

Debut:
First-ever Curio Collection resort in Hawaiʻi, opened September 2026.

Location:
Within the Hōkūala Resort community, overlooking Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach, near Līhuʻe Airport.

Scale:
210 rooms, including 23 suites, with private lānais and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Hāʻupu Mountain.

Design & Atmosphere
- Architecture by Hart Howerton and AHL, interiors by Looney & Associates.
- Inspired by Kauaʻi’s landscape: open-air walkways, lush greenery, and local artwork reflecting Hawaiian heritage.

Dining Experiences
- Figueira: Kauaʻi’s only Portuguese-Hawaiian dining concept, featuring dishes like Portuguese Fisherman’s Stew, malasadas, and Pineapple French Toast with Kuleana Rum caramel.
- The Wiliwili: Poolside casual dining with poke bowls, shave ice, tropical cocktails, and Hawaiian classics.

Signature Programming
- E Ala Ka Pilina (“The Awakening of Connection”): Cultural immersion program connecting guests with local practitioners, historians, artisans, and nonprofits.
